Job Title : Piping Mechanic - Commercial Construction

Position Overview : We are seeking motivated and dedicated individuals to join our Commercial Construction team as a Piping Mechanic for projects in Charlottesville and surrounding areas. In this role, you will have the opportunity to demonstrate and grow your skills in the trade, along with training and teaching apprentices and helpers.

Responsibilities :

• Thorough knowledge in the mechanical piping trade in either welding (carbon steel pipe), pipe fitting, or both
• Welding experience a plus - Stick welding on pipe
• Ability to read and interpret construction / coordination drawings and blueprints
• Work as a trainer and mentor for helpers and apprentices
• Must be open to helping other mechanical trades as needed - you will not weld all day, every day.
• Must be dependable and willing to complete a project from start to finish
• Must have a valid driver's license and dependable transportation
