Driver Check-In Representative

The Driver Check-In Representative position primarily involves supporting our delivery associates with the reconciliation of invoices and customer payments upon the delivery associate's return to the facility. This position works closely with our drivers to identify and resolve any discrepancies and ultimately applying payments to invoices.

Qualifications

  • Must be 18 years or older
  • High school or vocational school diploma or GED equivalent required

Responsibilities

  • Answer phone calls from drivers, delivery associates, and managers and provides support
  • Managing payments from customers
  • Applying payments to invoices
  • Identify discrepancies between invoices and customer payments
  • Provide back-up for department co-workers as needed
  • Balance load sheets by verifying the accuracy of inventory, matching payments to invoices, and verifying driver entries

  • Physical Requirements and Essential Functions

  • Regular, reliable attendance required
  • Able to frequently operate a pallet jack and / or forklift if assigned
  • Able to stand and walk, reach with arms and hands, lift and carry, and use hands and fingers to handle or feel
  • Able to perform greater than average lifting (50-65 lbs) with some overhead lifting required
  • Must have specific vision abilities that include close vision, distance vision, and the ability to judge distance
