About The Position

Job Title : Ultrasound Tech - Vascular

Profession : Radiology / Cardiology

Specialty : Ultrasound Tech - Vascular

Duration : 13 weeks

Shift : Night

Hours per Shift : 10 hours (22 : 00 - 08 : 30)

Experience : 2 years minimum

License : RVT license required

Certifications : ARDMS (AB, OB / GYN) or CCI, BLS

Must-Have :

• Dual certification in general ultrasound and vascular ultrasound is required.
• Proof of full series of COVID vaccinations and booster is required.
• 8 hours of orientation is required.

Description :

Prepare and operate ultrasound equipment.

Produce detailed images for diagnostic purposes.

Detect obstructions, stenosis, aneurysms, and other conditions in Client, abdomen, small body parts, arterial and venous systems, peripheral vascular, and cerebrovascular systems.

Provide general arterial flow studies and other ultrasound services.

Utilize skills in 1st, 2nd, and 3rd trimester obstetrics, abdominal ultrasound, and various vascular studies.

Operate advanced ultrasound technologies including Doppler studies and duplex imaging.

Maintain patient care standards and adhere to isolation precautions as necessary.

Support interdisciplinary teams in providing care to patients across various age groups, including adolescents, adults, and geriatrics.

Collaborate with respiratory services, rapid response teams, and unit secretaries as part of the care approach.

Floating to other units may be required as needed.

Participation in module training and compliance with facility guidelines is expected.
