Requirements:

High School graduate or equivalent plus one-year experience in construction inspection which should be in road or bridge construction inspection. The following certifications are highly preferred:

• CTQP Asphalt Paving 1
• CTQP Concrete Field Inspector Level 1
• CTQP Earthwork Construction Inspection Level 1

Duties:

Read and interpret construction drawings and specifications. Responsible for performing assignments in assisting the Senior Inspector and Roadway Inspector in the performance of their duties. Must be able to work independently or as part of a team. Strong math skills. Must obtain FDOT Intermediate MOT certification within the first six months of the assignment. Valid Driver's license.

Education

Preferred: High School or better.
