As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal at a government location, you will monitor assigned areas and conduct routine patrols to help deter security-related incidents. Your visible presence and exceptional communication skills will contribute to a secure environment while delivering outstanding customer service to everyone you encounter. Pay Rate : $20.68 / Hour

Job Schedule : Day

Time : Tue 04 : 00 PM - 12 : 00 AM

What You'll Do

  • Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
  • Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
  • Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
  • Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
  • Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies as directed by Allied Universal
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols
  • Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the government location and its perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and promote a secure environment
  • Monitor for and report any unusual activity or security-related concerns to the appropriate authorities and / or site management
  • Support emergency response activities as needed, following guidance from Allied Universal and site leadership
  • Maintain detailed records of patrols, incidents, and observations as required by site policies
  • Collaborate with site staff and law enforcement, when appropriate, to address security-related matters
  • Adapt to varying working environments and conditions specific to the government location

    • Minimum Requirements

  • At least 1 year of security-related experience is required
  • Be at least 21 years of age
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and / or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment
  • A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only
