Job Description

Perform correlative breast examinations and document scars, moles, and pertinent findings.

Provide individualized breast self-examination instruction and discuss the importance of annual clinical breast exams.

Identify all patients properly using two identifiers and follow universal protocol during procedures.

Review patient history and physician orders, applying departmental protocols for optimal data acquisition.

Perform mammography procedures including breast compression, positioning, and specialized views for maximum diagnostic quality.

Prepare patients for procedures and ensure their safety and comfort while communicating instructions clearly.

Conduct equipment quality control procedures using radioactive sources and evaluate results to ensure standards are met.

Critical Information

Shift hours : Monday-Friday 8am-4 : 30pm (Location 1), Monday-Friday 7 : 30am-4pm (Location 2)

Remote / on-site / hybrid : On-site

Job duration : 13 weeks

Education / Licenses Needed

ARRT registered in Radiology and Mammography
