Houston Nursing Job Details Location : Houston, TX 77004 (Museum District - near Hermann Park, museums, and cultural hotspots) Healthcare Setting : Operating Room, South Tower, 2nd Floor Assignment Duration : 13 weeks (Start : 9 / 22 / 2025, End : 12 / 22 / 2025) Nursing Shift : 10-hour days, 6 : 30 AM - 5 : 00 PM Hours per Week : 40 On-Call : Rotating call days, including weekends and overnight coverage Scrubs : Provided by hospital Estimated Weekly Salary : $1750 - $1870 Registered Nurse Qualifications Active Registered Nurse (RN) license - Texas or compact state BLS certification required Minimum 2 years of operating room circulating experience in an acute care hospital Cardiothoracic and vascular surgery experience required Neuro spine experience preferred CNOR certification preferred Ability to float to similar clinical units as needed Compliance with hospital dress code (no artificial nails, dips, gels, etc.) OR RN Responsibilities Circulate in 8 operating rooms with a collaborative team of 13 RNs and 10 scrub techs Maintain a 1 : 1 patient ratio for high-quality nursing care Assist with general surgery, robotics, colorectal, neuro spine, orthopedic, and urology procedures Participate in daily huddles at 6 : 45 AM and respond to on-call needs within 45 minutes Demonstrate flexibility and adaptability in a fast-paced healthcare environment Adhere to unit guidelines and hospital policies Apply now to join our Houston healthcare team and take the next step in your travel nursing career!
