Job Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Labor and Delivery position in Colorado requiring 4 years of recent L&D experience and specific certifications.

Responsibilities

  • Work in a hospital Family Birth Place setting specializing in Labor and Delivery, OR, PACU, postpartum, and couplet care
  • Care for mothers and babies 32 weeks gestation and above
  • Handles approximately 60 deliveries per month
  • 12-hour day shifts with rotating weekends
  • Participate in call rotation, typically one 12-hour shift every 6 weeks
  • No local candidates accepted; must live at least 75 miles from the facility
  • Provide comprehensive L&D care, including support for OR, PACU, postpartum, and couplet care units
  • Must be a strong team player with a patient-centered approach
  • Part of a supportive team recognized with Pathway to Excellence Designation
  • Facility offers housing available for travelers to rent directly
  • Fun, evidence-based work environment dedicated to best care practices
  • Holiday and weekend shift coverage required as scheduled

    • Requirements

  • Active Colorado or compact RN license in good standing
  • Minimum 4 years of recent experience in Labor and Delivery
  • Certifications required : BLS (AHA), ACLS (AHA), NRP, and STABLE
  • Proof of current flu vaccination with no exemptions allowed
