Work Schedule : 100% FTE, Day Shift role. Mon - Fri during orientation. Flexible after orientation : 4 / 10-hour days; 4 / 9-hour days and 1 / 4-hour day; 5 / 8-hours days. You will work at 1340 Charles St. Clinic in Rockford.
We are currently seeking a Medical Assistant (RMA, AAMA, CCMA or NCCT) to :
- Perform a variety of patient care duties including taking vital signs, recording patient histories, EKG's, medication reconciliation, specimen collections. Under the authority and delegation of a physician may perform certain other tasks or duties. Alerts provider / nurse of emergent patient needs.
- Prepare patients for examination, treatment and procedures.
- Provide quality care in a compassionate environment where teamwork is highly valued, and exceptionalism and innovation are encouraged.

Graduated from an accredited Associate degree program or Medical Assistant program or have at least 2 years of relevant experience. RequiredLaboratory and phlebotomy training required within 30 days of hire. RequiredDrug and alcohol screening, and N95 training required within 30 days of hire. RequiredWork Experience
At least one year of professional experience in a clinic setting. PreferredComputer experience. RequiredLicenses & Certifications
RMA, AAMA, CCMA or NCCT certification is required upon hire. RequiredBi-Annual CPR certification. RequiredActive RMA, AAMA, CCMA or NCCT certification must be maintained.
