Medical Assistant, Cardiology

Work Schedule : 100% FTE, Day Shift role. Mon - Fri during orientation. Flexible after orientation : 4 / 10-hour days; 4 / 9-hour days and 1 / 4-hour day; 5 / 8-hours days. You will work at 1340 Charles St. Clinic in Rockford.

We are currently seeking a Medical Assistant (RMA, AAMA, CCMA or NCCT) to :

• Perform a variety of patient care duties including taking vital signs, recording patient histories, EKG's, medication reconciliation, specimen collections. Under the authority and delegation of a physician may perform certain other tasks or duties. Alerts provider / nurse of emergent patient needs.
• Prepare patients for examination, treatment and procedures.
• Provide quality care in a compassionate environment where teamwork is highly valued, and exceptionalism and innovation are encouraged.
