Job Description : Travel Sleep Technologist – Eau Claire, WI

Position Title : Travel Sleep Technologist (RPSGT)

Location : Eau Claire, Wisconsin

Shift : Days, 4x9 schedule (Tuesday – Friday, 7 : 30 AM – 4 : 30 PM)

Contract Length : 13 weeks

Pay Range : $2,000 – $2,110 per week (gross)

Responsibilities

Conduct overnight and daytime sleep studies, including polysomnography, CPAP titration, and other diagnostic procedures.

Prepare patients for sleep studies, explaining procedures and ensuring comfort.

Operate and maintain sleep lab equipment, ensuring accurate data collection.

Monitor patients during studies, recognizing and responding to abnormal events.

Score sleep studies and generate detailed reports for physician review.

Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to support patient diagnosis and treatment.

Maintain compliance with HIPAA, safety standards, and facility protocols.

Provide patient education regarding sleep disorders and treatment options.

Requirements

Current BLS certification (American Heart Association).

Registered Polysomnographic Technologist (RPSGT) credential.

Minimum of 1 year of experience in sleep technology preferred.

Strong technical skills with sleep study equipment and software.

Excellent communication and patient care skills.

Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks in a clinical environment.
