Job descriptionPosition Type : Contract Contract Duration : 12 months Start : As Soon As Possible Pay Range : $65-$70 / hour Work Authorization : Local candidates only (currently residing in the Bay Area) Equipment : Laptop provided PPE : May be required; PPE procurement and reimbursement are supplier responsibility Perform complex data analysis using Excel, Power Query, Python, and Power BI to generate insights and customized reports. Develop, enhance, and maintain analytical models to predict business outcomes using multiple data variables. Identify trends, evaluate results, and make strategic recommendations that drive measurable improvements. Manage small to mid-size projects, ensuring deliverables are completed accurately and on time. Create visual management dashboards and reports via Power BI, PowerPoint, and other visualization tools. Communicate analytical findings and recommendations clearly to senior management and stakeholders. Contribute to data governance, business intelligence, and KPI development initiatives across departments. Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Economics, Engineering, or a related discipline (or equivalent experience). 4+ years of related experience in data analysis, business analytics, or data-driven project environments. Proven experience using Python , Power BI , and Power Query for data transformation and visualization. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, including what-if modeling and quantitative analysis. Excellent communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills. MBA or advanced degree in analytics, economics, or engineering. Experience with VBA, data ELT processes, and project management tools . Demonstrated understanding of market research, operational analytics, and metric-based reporting. Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, Visio, and related productivity software. Python, Power BI, Power Query, and VBA Data ELT and modeling Metrics and KPI development Project management and market research analytics Strong analytical thinking and adaptability to changing business conditions Ability to manage multiple priorities and projects Effective communicator and influencer with presentation expertise Medical, Vision, and Dental Insurance Plans 401k Retirement Fund
