Registered Nurse Qualifications

Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in Wisconsin or compact state

Minimum 5 years of recent Labor & Delivery nursing experience

Proficiency in labor, delivery, postpartum, and recovery care

BLS certification from the American Heart Association

Excellent communication, clinical, and teamwork skills

Labor & Delivery Nurse Responsibilities

Deliver comprehensive nursing care to patients during labor, delivery, recovery, and postpartum stages

Monitor maternal and fetal well-being, respond promptly to emergencies, and assist with childbirth procedures

Educate and support patients and families throughout the childbirth process

Collaborate with physicians, midwives, and multidisciplinary healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient outcomes

Maintain accurate clinical documentation and uphold the highest standards of patient safety and care
