Responsibilities

The Head Teller supervises the daily operational activities of the branch teller staff and is responsible for ensuring accuracy and high levels of member satisfaction. The role will prepare, coordinate, and monitor various needs within the branch, which include but are not limited to record reconciliation, reports, teller work schedules, and branch cash needs.

As a leader, the Head Teller is expected to develop, motivate, and retain qualified staff. The role requires a high level of focus around adherence to compliance, policy, and procedure. The role will also participate in opening and closing branch procedures, selecting qualified candidates, and coaching and reviewing teller work to foster a team environment. In addition, the Head Teller will train other staff on general job duties and sales technique as well as contribute to sales goal attainment for department and organization goals, primarily by identifying and educating members on product and service needs thru meaningful conversations. Finally, the Head Teller will fill the Teller role when needed and is also cross trained to provide a full range of new accounts, lending, account maintenance / review and support services. This position may provide coverage, as needed for other departments and / or functions that are within the scope of this position.

  • Ability to travel, including occasional overnight travel
  • Ability to exert minimum amounts of force occasionally to lift, carry, push, pull or move objects
  • Qualifications

    3-5 years of related experience; 0-1 years of leadership / management experience

This figure serves as the entry point in our salary range, and there is potential for the actual salary to be higher based on a variety of factors, such as your experience, skills, education, and location. We believe in recognizing and rewarding talent, so our compensation packages are thoughtfully designed to reflect the unique qualifications and contributions of each candidate.

    The minimum salary for this position is :

    $47,000+ / yr
