Experience with drip titration.

Description :

This position involves working in an interventional radiology setting.

The unit typically handles 20-30 cases per day.

Common patient diagnoses include GI bleed, strokes, and biopsies.

The role requires monitoring of patients pre-operatively and during phase 2 recovery.

The nurse will work closely with interventional radiology techs and other medical staff.

There will be a charge nurse available during shifts to assist with case coverage.

Nurses in this role are expected to handle a maximum of 1 : 1 intraprocedural patient ratios, and up to 1 : 4 during phase 2 recovery.

Primary and secondary call requirements include 6-8 shifts in a 6-week period, which may include weekends.

Holiday call is also required, with the department being closed on holidays.

All scrubs will be provided for the role.

A response time of 30 minutes is required for call situations.

No floating to other departments will be necessary.
