Job Summary :
As a Site Supervisor, you will oversee the operation of Rocket Fuel sites, ensuring that meal services run smoothly and safely. Youll manage a team of site monitors, handle customer service inquiries, and ensure compliance with all safety regulations. Additionally, you will help prepare meals for at-risk children and build weekend food bags for Title 1 schools in Anchorage.
Key Responsibilities :
Program Oversight and Compliance :
- Oversee daily CACFP operations at the site to ensure adherence to federal and state regulations, according to ccrcinc.com.
- Develop, implement, and monitor program policies and procedures.
- Ensure the site meets cleanliness and safety standards.
- Guarantee that all meals meet CACFP meal pattern and quantity requirements for the age groups served.
- Maintain records of food safety procedures, sanitation inspections, and food worker cards for staff.
- Conduct required on-site reviews and ensure any identified problems are corrected.
Meal Service and Operations :
Oversee food service operations and meal service practices.Ensure proper meal preparation, storage, and service practices.Maintain organized record-keeping systems for menus, recipes, meal logs, and dietary restrictions.Develop shopping lists and manage procurement of food and supplies within a budget.Promote positive nutrition attitudes and ensure adequate supervision during meal service.Training and Development :
Provide training and guidance to staff on CACFP regulations and best practices.Conduct annual CACFP training for relevant staff members.Reporting and Record-Keeping :
Prepare and submit timely reports to the sponsoring organization.Maintain accurate records on-site for a minimum of three years plus the current year.Conduct and document CACFP training for all new staff with CACFP responsibilities.Communication and Collaboration :
Act as the primary point of contact for the sponsoring organization regarding CACFP operations.Communicate any problems or issues regarding meal services promptly to the sponsor.Collaborate with other staff and supervisors to ensure smooth and effective program implementation.Other Responsibilities :
Supervise site monitors and kitchen staff to ensure daily operations run smoothly.Oversee meal counts and documentation, ensuring accuracy.Address any issues or concerns from staff, parents, or children.Ensure all food safety protocols are followed.Manage the setup and breakdown of meal service areas.Ensure that all site paperwork is submitted on time.Help prepare meals for at-risk children and build weekend food bags for Title 1 schools.Qualifications :
Experience in food service or event management preferred.Strong leadership and communication skills.Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment.Must pass a background check and drug test.Physical Requirements :
Ability to stand for extended periods.Ability to lift and carry up to 40 pounds.
