About the Role

Live Oak Healthcare and Rehabilitation is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Licensed Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) to join our team on a PRN basis. In this role, you will support our Physical Therapists in delivering high-quality, person-centered care that helps residents regain strength, mobility, and independence.

Key Responsibilities

Provide therapy services under the direction of the Physical Therapist, ensuring individualized, effective treatment plans.

Maintain professionalism at all times, adhering to departmental policies and fostering a respectful, positive environment.

Ensure safety by following infection control protocols, using proper PPE, and reporting hazards or equipment issues promptly.

Keep the therapy area organized, clean, and equipped for resident use.

Identify and escalate concerns regarding labels, Safety Data Sheets (SDSs), or other safety-related matters.

Requirements

Licensure : Active, unrestricted license as a Physical Therapist Assistant in the State of Florida.

Experience : At least 1 year of experience in a nursing home, skilled nursing, or rehabilitation setting preferred.
