Degree in Physical Therapy, active Physical Therapist license and 1+ year of Physical Therapy experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

This position offers a comprehensive physical therapy role within a K-12 educational setting located in Pasco, WA, providing services throughout the school year under a contractual agreement. The primary responsibility involves delivering mostly one-on-one therapy sessions to approximately 24 students across all grade levels, from kindergarten through 12th grade.

Key responsibilities include conducting both therapy and evaluations to support students' physical development and educational needs. The role also encompasses important indirect duties such as writing Individualized Education Programs (IEPs), implementing accommodation plans, and contributing to program development. Medicaid billing is an integral part of the position, ensuring proper documentation and service claims.

Collaboration is central to this role, as the physical therapist will work as a team member alongside teachers, who typically serve as the case managers. While the district includes some transient populations, the majority of the student base remains stable, allowing for consistent therapeutic intervention. Case management tasks may arise occasionally, supporting the overall educational and therapeutic goals for the students served.

Qualifications and desired experience :

• Licensed physical therapist with experience in pediatric or school settings
• Skilled in conducting therapy sessions, evaluations, and outcome measurements
• Familiarity with IEP development and accommodation programming
• Proficient in Medicaid billing procedures related to therapy services
• Ability to collaborate effectively within multidisciplinary teams
• Comfortable managing caseloads across multiple grade levels (K-12)
