Assistant Meat Market Manager

We are currently seeking a skilled, experienced, and highly motivated

• to lead and elevate our busy meat department. Our facility is fully equipped, including a new automatic wrapper machine, ensuring you have the best tools to succeed in a high-volume environment.

Key Duties and Responsibilities :

Expert Meat Cutting :

Perform all standard and specialty

meat cutting procedures

with a high degree of skill, precision, and efficiency.

Inventory & Profit Management :

Lead the execution of

ordering, receiving, and inventory control

. Manage department budget, calculate product margins, and analyze sales data to minimize waste (

shrink

) and maximize profitability.

Team Leadership :

Hire, train, mentor, and supervise

all department staff, including developing and managing the

department schedule

. Foster a positive, accountable, and high-performing team culture.

Merchandising & Sales :

Develop and execute dynamic

merchandising strategies

to create appealing displays, enhance product visibility, and drive sales.

Customer Service :

Provide expert, friendly

customer service

by advising customers on meat selections, special cuts, and cooking techniques.

Safety & Compliance :

Ensure and enforce rigorous compliance with all local and federal

food safety and sanitation

standards. Maintain the cleanliness and proper working order of all equipment (e.g., saws, grinders, wrappers) and work areas. xklufbp

Job Type : Full-time

Pay : $50,000.00 - $65,000.00 per year
