Job descriptionDeliver essential general, behavioral, and psychiatric nursing care to patients, adhering to the Mental Health Program Guide, policies, and regulations. Administer care under the clinical direction of the Registered Nurse (RN). Support daily healthcare operations, ensuring efficient functioning of the care team. Collaborate with the healthcare team to address ongoing patient needs and create a supportive environment. Promote the effective and cost-efficient use of health care resources in all facets of patient care. Comply with all relevant regulations and procedures while providing care in a correctional health care setting. Position : Psychiatric Care Technician
Annual Salary Range : $71,460 - $105,084
California Correctional Health Care Services (CCHCS) is actively seeking dedicated Psychiatric Care Technicians. In this vital role, you will contribute significantly to the well-being and recovery of patients.
Minimum Qualifications :
- Possession of a valid license to practice as a Psychiatric Technician issued by the BVNPTE (Candidates nearing completion of the accredited Psychiatric Technician curriculum may apply, but must obtain the license prior to appointment).
