Your Role

The Technical Communications team is responsible for the creation, maintenance, and governance of procedure documentation used by front-line and back-office staff. The Technical Communicator, Experienced will report to the Technical Communications Manager. In this role you will develop relationships with subject matter experts, solicit feedback from process owners, utilize critical thinking skills to synthesize information, and publish content for use by internal staff.

Your Work

In this role, you will :

• Enable the development and deployment of technical / operational communications that assist with front-line operational knowledge
• Be responsible for creating and updating technical documentation / knowledge assets including policies & procedures
• Employ appropriate development methodologies to ensure that the knowledge assets are relevant, readily understandable, and easily accessible
• Ensure knowledge assets are accurate by testing instructions through audit process, and chair-siding with end users and experts
• Understand and leverage context-sensitive knowledge and metadata taxonomy governance to build technical communication assets
• Attend and facilitate meetings with stakeholders and experts from other departments
• Utilize critical thinking to synthesize information from multiple sources
• Be responsible for working independently and meeting time-sensitive deadlines
• Publish and maintain content in various systems such as Service Now (Service Marketplace), MS Word, Documentum, and SharePoint
• Participate in team engagement activities
