Sr. Mechanical Engineer

Job Summary :

The Manufacturing Engineer is responsible for designing, implementing, and optimizing manufacturing processes and systems to enhance productivity, quality, and efficiency in production. This role involves collaboration with cross-functional teams to improve existing processes, develop new manufacturing methods, and support the introduction of new products. The ideal candidate has a strong engineering background, a solid understanding of manufacturing processes, and a commitment to continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities

• Process Design & Improvement :

Analyze existing manufacturing processes to identify inefficiencies and recommend improvements.

Lead projects focused on process optimization, equipment upgrades, and new product introductions.

Develop and implement quality control procedures and process documentation to ensure product quality.

Provide technical support to production teams, addressing issues related to equipment, tooling, and processes.

Identify opportunities for cost savings through process improvements, waste reduction, and efficiency gains.

Maintain accurate records of process changes, improvements, and performance metrics.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Manufacturing Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.

3+ years of experience in manufacturing engineering or a related field, preferably in a [specific industry, e.g., automotive, aerospace, electronics].

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a focus on process improvement.

Professional Engineer (PE) certification or equivalent .
