JOB SUMMARY
The cook is responsible for the preparation of the meals for the residents and ensuring that all regulations are met.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES :
- Responsible for meal planning and inventory control.
- Responsible for the preparation of daily meals.
- Responsible for ensuring that Assistant Director is informed of daily operational issues.
- Responsible for ensuring that all policies, procedures and practices of VOASELA and all governmental regulatory agencies are met.
- Responsible for the overall cleaning of the kitchen.
- Veteran Services staff are required to Shelter in Place for nonmandatory evacuation Hurricane threat
- Performs other duties as assigned.
