Physical Therapy physician employment in California : A health services network in California is currently seeking a licensed Physical Therapist (PT) to join one of their facilities in the Greater Los Angeles area. In this role, thePhysical Therapist (PT) will will be responsible forworkingwith patients in an outpatient setting who have a variety of orthopedic/musculoskeletal pathologies. *About the Opportunity:* * *Start Date:*ASAP * *Assignment Length: *Contract or Contract to Perm * *Patient Population:*Adults mainly (but they do see all ages) * *Patient Volume:*2 patients per hour (30min sessions) * *EMR:*ECW *Responsibilities:* The Physical Therapist (PT) will: * Perform thorough PT evaluations and establish a plan of carefor patients * Keep accurate and consistent EMR documentation in a timely manner to support treatment and treatment goals * Provide PT treatment to a variety of orthopedic patients * Evaluate patient outcomes to determine effectiveness of treatments * Discharge patients appropriately and follow up with patients * Oversee the PT Aides and other staff * Participate in care coordination meetings * Assist in designing treatment protocols * Perform other duties, as needed *Qualifications:* * Graduate of an accredited School of Physical Therapy * Current Physical Therapist (PT) license (PTLA status welcomed) * Solid assessment and documentation skills * Great interpersonal skills * Excellent communication skills (written an verbal) * Strong attention to detail * Highly organized * Able to multitaskefficiently and effectively *Desired Skills:* * Master's Degree in Physical Therapy * Current CA Physical Therapist (PT) license * Experience in an Orthopedics Outpatient role / setting Board Certified or Board Eligible Medical Doctor with or w/o US residency with current US work visa.
