We’re looking for a Facility Maintenance Assistant who enjoys hands-on work, can follow directions well, and wants to learn new skills in a supportive environment. The right candidate will be trained on the maintenance tasks required to support production and facility operations.

Overview
The Facility Maintenance Assistant helps maintain and repair production equipment and building systems under the direction of the Maintenance Lead. This role involves basic mechanical work, assisting with small repairs, and helping keep facility systems running smoothly. Prior maintenance experience is a plus but not required—just a willingness to learn and work safely.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in repairing and maintaining production machines and facility equipment as directed.
- Use basic hand tools safely and effectively for maintenance tasks.
- Help set up, relocate, or install equipment and workstations as needed.
- Follow written and verbal instructions from maintenance or operations leads.
- Perform simple preventive maintenance tasks (tightening bolts, replacing small parts, checking for leaks, etc.).
- Support equipment troubleshooting and learn basic mechanical and electrical repair skills.
- Safely work at heights when needed (e.g., replacing bulbs, accessing fixtures, minor roof repairs).
- Report safety or maintenance concerns promptly.
Required Skills and Qualifications
Ability to use basic hand tools (e.g., screwdrivers, wrenches, drills).Comfortable following written and verbal instructions accurately.Comfortable with heights or working on ladders.Dependable, adaptable, and willing to learn new skills.Mechanically inclined and enjoys hands-on problem solving.Education and Experience
High school diploma or equivalent preferred.Prior experience in maintenance, construction, or production a plus but not required.All necessary maintenance training provided on the job.Physical Requirements
Ability to stand, walk, and climb ladders for extended periods.Ability to lift up to 50 pounds occasionally.Comfortable working in both production and warehouse environments.
