PARAPLANNER JOB SUMMARY :
We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Paraplanner, to join the Financial Planning Department Team in our Sioux Falls office, helping us maintain our high standards while supporting advisors. This role is essential in supporting the advisor team by conducting research, preparing financial plans, and ensuring smooth client interactions. The ideal candidate will thrive in a fast-paced environment, possess strong analytical skills, have a deep understanding of financial planning principles, and demonstrate a commitment to excellence in delivering personalized financial solutions.
WHAT YOU WILL LOVE TO DO :
Collaborate with advisors to ensure seamless financial plan implementation and exceptional client experience
- Review, organize and update client financial data prior to meetings
Analyze client-provided information to prepare recommendations
Work with Advisors to gain an understanding of our client's background and objectivesAssist in building comprehensive financial plans ensuring alignment with Clients goals and valuesInput and maintain accurate client data in financial planning softwareCollaborate with client relationship managers to ensure seamless workflow and efficient client serviceStay up-to-date with financial regulations, market trends, and industry best practicesThere will be PLENTY of opportunities to learn and grow. QUALIFICATIONS & SKILLS :
Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Financial Planning, Accounting, or related field2+ years of experience in a paraplanning or similar support role in a financial advisory firmFamiliarity with investment products, financial markets, and regulatory requirements (e.g., SEC / FINRA)Proficiency with financial planning software (e.g., eMoney, MoneyGuidePro), CRM systems (e.g. Salesforce), and Microsoft Office SuitePREFERRED ATTRIBUTES :
