Assistant Project Manager
We design, install, and maintain advanced electrical systems. Our expertise spans traditional electrical contracting, security solutions, audio-visual integration, wireless networking, and building management systems. Assistant Project Manager reports directly to the Project Manager or Senior Project Manager. This is a client-facing role that requires the ability to build relationships both in and out of the office. The core responsibility of an Assistant Project Manager is to learn through on-the-job experience, peer-to-peer engagement, and technical training.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities include assisting in estimating project scope and costs, managing projects with subcontractors, creating, managing and following change management forms and methods of procedure (mops), understanding preventive maintenance, NFPA 70B and NFPA 70E, communicating with clients and subcontractors, attending and actively participating in project coordination and owner / contractor / architect / engineer meetings as requested or required, researching and preparation of change requests to resolve design issues for approval, researching and recommending solutions to design document problems, including conflicts, interferences, and errors / omissions, monitoring field work and / or contract work to ensure compliance with company standards, procedures, specifications, and codes, assisting with the submittal process, and assisting in the tracking and completion of billing.
Qualifications include a college degree, journeyman's license, or master electrician's license, understanding of electrical installations, strong computer skills, excellent verbal and written communication skills, excellent organizational skills, ability to work independently as well as in a team environment, and applicants must be currently authorized to work in the U.S. on a full-time basis without employer sponsorship. Employment-based visa sponsorship (including H-1B sponsorship) is not available for this position.
