Insight Global is looking for a Tooling Technician in Dodge Center, MN. This is a direct hire opportunity on 2nd shift (Monday–Friday, 5 : 00 PM – 3 : 30 AM, with occasional Saturday hours). The Tooling Technician will be responsible for building and repairing jigs, fixtures, and tools using 2D drawings to support Change Notices and New Product Development (NPD) launches. The role involves troubleshooting hydraulic, pneumatic, and mechanical systems, operating CNC equipment, and maintaining a clean and safe work environment. Technicians will also assist in training new employees and collaborate closely with engineers.

Minimum Qualifications (Must be on Resume) :

  • Certified Sr. Welder
  • Forklift Certified
  • Minimum 5 years of welding experience

Preferred Qualifications :

  • CNC machine operation experience

    • Essential Duties & Responsibilities :

  • Build tools using GD&T prints
  • Troubleshoot hydraulic, plumbing, and mechanical issues
  • Repair / replace damaged jig and fixture components
  • Operate CNC lathe, CNC mill, drill press, saws, cranes, forklifts, and other shop equipment
  • Communicate with team via handheld radios
  • Perform preventive maintenance and support SMS audits
  • Collaborate closely with engineers and adapt to new strategies
  • Maintain clean and organized workspaces
  • Lift and manipulate parts up to 80 lbs
  • Work overtime and weekends as needed
