The role is part of the In-Space Systems business unit, which is focused on addressing space infrastructure and increasing mobility on-orbit.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement high speed digital designs for new communication systems.
• Apply research and development skills to architect real-world products and capabilities from ideas and early prototypes.
• Stay apprised of current and future modem related hardware components including but not limited to mixed signal products, SoCs, FPGAs, ADCs, DACs, and high speed electrical and electro-optical transceivers and phys.
• Recommend digital architectures that optimize designs for performance and cost while balancing design for test and manufacturing.
• Support prototype unit build and test phases.
• Maintain detailed documentation of designs, test procedures, and results.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to achieve project objectives and address technical challenges.

Compensation

Compensation ranges vary by location : CA applicants is $152,235.00-$213,127.95; CO applicants is $139,979.00-$195,969.90; WA applicants is $152,235.00-$213,127.95. Other site ranges may differ.
