Bright Talent is seeking an experienced HR Business Partner for one of our valued clients undergoing transition and operational change. This mid-level, hands-on role is well-suited for a seasoned HR generalist who enjoys partnering directly with warehouse teams while supporting process improvements that modernize HR practices.
This role is contract-to-hire, with the potential for full-time employment with the client based on performance and business needs.
Location & Schedule
This position is primarily based in Phoenix, AZ with an estimated schedule of:
4-5 days onsite in Phoenix
1–2 days per month onsite in Tucson
We offer flexible start times to support commuting and different shifts
What You’ll Do
Partner closely with managers and employees on the warehouse floor to provide real-time HR support.
Lead day-to-day HR operations and employee relations, including coaching and issue resolution.
Contribute to evolving HR practices, policies, and processes that enhance the employee experience.
Support change initiatives, training programs, and team development activities.
Ensure compliance with federal and Arizona labor laws.
Deliver proactive HR solutions aligned with business needs and organizational goals.
Who You Are
Based in the Phoenix metro area and comfortable traveling to Tucson 1x/week.
A mid-career HR professional with at least 5 years of generalist or HRBP experience in a distribution, warehouse, or industrial setting.
A hands-on partner who thrives in high-touch environments and builds strong relationships with frontline teams and leadership.
Experience in small to mid-size companies (preferred).
Work in a fast pace environment.
Able to adapt to change easily.
A confident problem-solver with excellent communication, organizational and coaching skills.
Knowledgeable in employment law, HR best practices, and process improvement.
Additional Info
Full-time schedule: Monday–Friday, ~40 hours/week.
Initial contract assignment through Bright Talent, with the opportunity to convert to full-time employment with the client.
Position will start as a 1099 contract.
Duration of contract period will be discussed during the interview process.
Pay range ($50-$65/hr) is an estimate; final compensation will be confirmed during interviews.
