Job Description

American Traveler is seeking an Ultrasound Technologist experienced in OB / GYN and vascular sonography with ARDMS certification and travel experience.

Responsibilities

  • Hospital-based setting with focus on OB / GYN and vascular ultrasound
  • Primary coverage is for 1st, 2nd, and 3rd trimester OB patients
  • Responsibilities include anatomy scans, biophysical exams, and vascular studies of venous legs, arms, arterial and carotids
  • Work schedule is Monday through Friday from 3 : 00 PM to 11 : 30 PM
  • Uses GE Logiq 10 ultrasound machine
  • Computer systems include Synapse and Expanse
  • Candidates must have experience performing exams on OB / GYN patients, including all trimesters and small parts
  • Facility will not consider former staff as travelers
  • COVID vaccination is highly recommended but not required
  • Facility may cancel up to 5 shifts during the 13-week assignment without penalty

    • Requirements

  • Minimum of 2 years experience as an Ultrasound Technologist
  • Current BLS certification required
  • ARDMS certification required
  • Proficiency in OB / GYN sonography for all trimesters
  • Experience with anatomy scans, biophysical exams, and vascular studies
  • Previous travel assignment experience required, with preference for those who have completed renewals
  • License required if applicable
