Responsibilities Work in an acute care setting on a Labor & Delivery unit L&D unit includes 3 delivery beds and postpartum rooms with overflow capacity Average annual births : 120-130 Patient charting is done using the Athena EMR system Uses PeriCalm fetal monitoring system Night shifts, 12 hours each from 6pm to 6am Floating to MedSurg unit may be required CNA support is shared with Med / Surg and L&D Pharmacy support is on-call and CRNA support is available as needed Provide comprehensive care to laboring and postpartum patients No in-house OB or neonatologist; managed by family practice providers Scrubs in any solid color are acceptable May assist and support MedSurg team as needed Requirements Active UT or compact state RN license required Current BLS, NRP, and Intermediate Fetal Monitoring certifications required Minimum of 2 years of recent Labor & Delivery RN experience Experience with PeriCalm fetal monitoring system preferred EMR experience with Athena is preferred No BSN required Benefits High Pay and Bonuses Medical, Dental and Vision Insurance with Day 1 Options 401(k) Plan Weekly Payroll Deposit Free Online CEUs Generous Housing Allowance Travel and Licensure Reimbursements Non-taxed Per Diem and Subsidy Traveler Rewards and Discounts American Traveler Job ID P-640733.
