Job Description :

The Shipping and Receiving Supervisor is responsible for overseeing all aspects of the shipping and receiving operations within the warehouse. This role ensures that goods are properly received, stored, and shipped in a timely and efficient manner, maintaining high standards of safety, accuracy, and efficiency. The Shipping and Receiving Supervisor will lead a team of employees, coordinate with other departments, and ensure compliance with company policies and industry regulations.

Key Responsibilities :

• Supervise Daily Operations :

Oversee and manage the daily activities of shipping and receiving operations, ensuring smooth and efficient processes.

Lead, train, and mentor a team of shipping and receiving associates.

Ensure compliance with all company safety policies, procedures, and standards.

Work closely with the production team, manufacturing, and procurement departments to ensure timely and accurate shipments and receipts.

Oversee the accurate documentation of all shipments, receipts, and returns.

Identify areas for improvement in shipping and receiving processes and implement new procedures to enhance efficiency and productivity.

Qualifications :

Post High school course work- or equivalent experience required; bachelors degree preferred but not required. Equivalent experience in logistics, supply chain management, or related field is acceptable.

Demonstrated leadership and team management skills.

Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand or walk for extended periods.
