Job Summary and Qualifications

The Radiologic Technologist must : demonstrate an understanding of human anatomy, physiology, pathology, and medical terminology, and maintain a high degree of accuracy in Radiologic positioning and exposure techniques. He / she must maintain knowledge about radiation protection and safety. The Radiologic Technologists prepare for and assist the physician in the completion of intricate Radiologic examinations. They prepare and administer contrast media in accordance with state, federal and hospital regulations. The Radiologic Technologists are the primary liaison between patients and departmental physicians and other members of the support team. They must remain sensitive to the physical and emotional needs of the patient through good communication, patient assessment, patient monitoring, and patient care skills.

In addition, we are equipped with 3 helipads, new ICU and Medical / Surgical floors, and burn care services. We offer a CARF accredited Inpatient Rehabilitation program and are an ACS verified Level II Trauma Center.
