Manufacturing Engineer (Aerospace Assembly & Testing)
Our client, a manufacturer of turbojet engines, is seeking a Manufacturing Engine er. This position plays a key role in leading the day-to-day operations of UAV jet engine assembly and testing at their newly established production and test facility in Fulton County, GA.
The role is responsible for ensuring efficient, high-volume throughput while upholding the highest standards of quality and precision throughout the assembly and validation processes.
Key Responsibilities :
- Quality : Ensure all products meet or exceed quality standards through effective quality control and ongoing monitoring.
- Process Improvement : Identify and help implement enhancements using best practices to boost productivity and minimize waste.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration : Work closely with engineering, supply chain, and quality teams to ensure smooth operations.
- Safety Commitment : Work in a culture of safety, complying with health, safety, and environmental regulations specific to the industry.
Qualifications :
A bachelor's degree in Aerospace, Industrial Manufacturing Process, or a related field.5+ years of direct experience in related manufacturing engineering.Strong knowledge of manufacturing processes and quality assurance practices.Proficiency in using various assembly processes and all related tooling.Familiarity with aerospace materials and their manufacturing processes.Safety and quality standards in manufacturing with ISO 9001 or AS9100 experience.Experience or certification in LEAN methodology / LEAN Six Sigma Green Belt is preferred.Work experience with ERP systems.Must be a US Citizen, due to an ITAR complaint facility.10% of international travel to Europe is required in the first year.Benefits :
