A Brief Overview

The Respiratory Lead Therapist provides leadership, clinical expertise, and operational oversight for all respiratory care services during the assigned shift. This role ensures the safe and effective delivery of respiratory therapies to patients of all ages, in accordance with established protocols, standards, and regulatory requirements. The Lead Therapist serves as the primary clinical resource for respiratory staff during off-hours, coordinates patient care assignments, manages emergencies, and communicates critical information to day-shift leadership.

What you will do

• Clinical Leadership & Oversight

Coordinate and support night shift respiratory therapists in delivering high-quality patient care.

Oversee daily workflow, including patient care assignments, staffing adjustments, and equipment utilization.

Act as the liaison between night shift staff, physicians, nursing leadership, and respiratory management.

Lead and participate in all emergency situations requiring respiratory intervention, including Code Blue, Rapid Response, and airway emergencies.

Provide guidance and informal education to night shift staff, students, and new hires.

If you are hired at Holy Name, your final base compensation will be determined based on factors such as employment status (Full / Part-Time or Per Diem) skills, education, and / or experience. In addition to those factors – we believe in the importance of pay equity and consider any internal equity of our current team members as a part of any final offer. Pay Range : $48.25 / hour - $55.50 / hour
