Position Summary:

As a School Health Nurse , you'll play a vital role in supporting student well-being and academic success by identifying and addressing health-related barriers to learning. You will assess student health, develop and implement individualized care plans, promote wellness, and act as a liaison between families, schools, and the healthcare system.

What You'll Do:

• Provide health assessments, develop health plans, and manage chronic conditions

• Participate in IEP development as the health team specialist

• Offer crisis intervention for illness, injury, and emotional concerns

• Monitor and help control communicable diseases

• Educate students and staff on wellness and healthy habits

• Serve as a community resource and promote health careers

What You'll Need:

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program (ADN, Diploma, or BSN preferred)

• Valid RN license in Indiana

• 3+ years of nursing experience preferred, ideally in a school setting

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
