Ophthalmic Technician

Refractive Ophthalmic Technician - Ophthalmology Private Practice Locations in - Century City, CA & Inglewood, CAFull time - Immediate availabilityStarting Pay range : $24-32 DOEDuties- Perform preliminary patient work-up including history taking and visual acuity measurements and refracting- Assist ophthalmologists with diagnostic testing such as OCTs and visual field testing- Administer eye medications as directed by physicians- Educate patients on proper eye care procedures and post-operative instructions- Maintain accurate and detailed patient records using electronic health recordsExperience- Previous experience in ophthalmology or optometry clinic is preferred- Familiarity with anatomy and physiology of the eye- Knowledge of aseptic techniques for maintaining a sterile environment- Proficiency in utilizing electronic health record systemsWe are seeking an experienced Ophthalmic Technician to join our team.
