Deephaven is comprised of two lending platforms. Our wholesale channel offers loans through a network of over 1,000 independent mortgage brokers. Our correspondent channel buys loans from over 200 correspondent partners. Deephaven's headquarters are in Charlotte, North Carolina.
Job Overview
We are seeking an experienced Business & Quality Analyst (Contract, 1099) to support high-impact technology and business initiatives. This role is fully remote and open to candidates across the U.S. The ideal professional brings a proven background in both Business Analysis and Project Management, having successfully led large-scale projects under Agile methodologies. Experience with Point of Sale (POS) systems and HELOC projects is highly desirable. We need someone who is proactive, independent, and a resourceful self-starter who can obtain the information needed to drive projects forward without waiting for direction.
The Contract Business and Quality Analyst will work closely with the Technology and Business teams to define and document requirements and lead the accurate and timely execution of projects and enhancements. They will utilize questioning techniques, mortgage industry knowledge, system knowledge, and testing knowledge to drive accurate business requirements for projects and system enhancements. The candidate will provide management of all project efforts from initiation to post implementation by applying prior knowledge of project management methodologies including agile. The candidate should have a strong understanding of communication, problem-solving skills, and the ability to collaborate with team members and stakeholders.
