What This Job Involves :
As Director of Project Management, you will be responsible for directing all project management activities and management of a team of 50+ project management professionals serving a Financial Services client. You will lead and develop the project management team in providing superior client service and project execution while partnering with other service line leaders and Center of Excellence teams in achieving account team goals. This role requires demonstrated ability to develop and manage a strong team of professionals focused on delivering value to the client while working within the process requirements of the client and JLL, playing a lead role in developing and executing an integrated strategy for your team to support success of the business unit's overall strategy.
What Your Day-to-Day Will Look Like :
- Direct all project management activities and manage a team of 50+ project management professionals
- Lead and develop the project management team in providing superior client service and project execution
- Partner with other service line leaders and Center of Excellence teams in achieving account team goals
- Liaise across multiple internal and external teams including retail client, external design team, regional A&E partners, general contractors, and non-construction partners
- Create a solution oriented environment whereby the regional team consistently seeks to identify leading edge project management practices
- Provide regional perspective and input to the Center of Excellence team on enhanced service delivery components
- Ensure team leads and project managers are fully aligned and exceed cascaded Client targets and the account business plan
- Develop and maintain positive working relationships between Service Line Leaders, Center of Excellence team, Team Leads, and Project Managers
- Develop and deliver successful KPIs while effectively identifying and mitigating project risks
Required Qualifications :
Bachelor's Degree from an accredited institution in Architecture, Engineering, or Construction ManagementMinimum 12 years of managing large dynamic teamsMinimum of 12 years of experience in managing design and construction of multiple projects across a broad geographyExperience in Building and Delivering Capital PlanningStrong understanding of real estate life cycle and proven ability to collaborate with transaction managers, facility managers, engineers, and planning teamsStrong working knowledge of accounting and financial reporting, budgeting, scheduling and process as they relate to corporate real estateExcellent verbal and written communication skills and strong analytical skillsKnowledge of Microsoft Office applications and Microsoft Project scheduling softwareAbility to effectively identify and mitigate project risks before they impact service deliveryPreferred Qualifications :
Experience serving Financial Services clientsLeadership experience in retail construction and project managementExperience with Center of Excellence team coordination and strategy developmentKnowledge of merchandising, technology, fixtures, furniture, and branding coordinationAdvanced experience in KPI development and deliveryExperience establishing performance expectations and providing employee feedbackTrack record of creating environments with strong morale and team developmentExperience establishing credibility with leaders through confidence and presenceProven ability to establish and maintain effective relationships based on mutual trust and respectLocation : Remote Charlotte, NC
Estimated compensation for this position : 200,000.00 225,000.00 USD per year
