Store Manager Position
We are seeking a reliable, detail-oriented, and proactive Store Manager to oversee the daily operations of our liquor store. The ideal candidate is a strong communicator with a customer-first attitude and proven leadership skills. You'll be responsible for managing staff, inventory, and store systems to ensure smooth and efficient operations.
Store Operations
- Open and close the store; maintain a clean, organized, and visually appealing sales floor
- Ensure compliance with liquor regulations and company policies
- Monitor inventory levels, check expiration dates, and coordinate timely restocking
Staff Management
Supervise and schedule team membersTrain staff on customer service, POS usage, and store proceduresManage performance, approve time-off requests, and facilitate team communicationCustomer Service
Deliver exceptional customer service and resolve issues promptlyFoster a professional and welcoming store environmentInventory & Ordering
Place orders, receive deliveries, and oversee stock rotationAssist with store resets, audits, and inventory organization (including liquor room, kitchen, and storage areas)Technology & Reporting
Use POS systems and digital tools confidentlyProficient in Microsoft Excel (spreadsheets, formulas, reporting)Support onboarding and tech training for new staffSchedule & Flexibility
Must be available for varied shifts : mornings, mid-days, evenings, weekends, and holidaysFlexibility to cover shifts and respond to staffing needs on short noticeWilling to step in wherever needed to keep operations running smoothlyQualifications
Retail management experience required; liquor retail experience is a plusStrong leadership, time management, and interpersonal skillsAbility to lift up to 40 lbs and stand for extended periodsFamiliarity with liquor products and customer preferences is an assetCompensation & Benefits
