What You'll Do

POSITION OVERVIEW:

As an Audit Intern, you will have the opportunity to gain practical experience and contribute to the internal audit function of our organization. You will work closely with our audit team, assisting them in conducting audits, reviewing processes, and evaluating internal controls. This internship will provide you with valuable exposure to auditing practices, risk assessment methodologies, and compliance requirements. This position is based in our Corporate office in Houston, Texas, and requires travel to various Quanta operating companies throughout the summer.

ESSENTIAL JOB SKILLS/DUTIES:

• Assist with day-to-day tasks and projects across different departments, which may include research, data entry, administrative support, or assisting with specific initiatives.

• Collaborate with team members to contribute to the planning, implementation, and evaluation of departmental activities.

• Conduct research and gather information to support decision-making processes or project development.

• Prepare and present reports, presentations, or other deliverables as assigned.

• Participate in team meetings, workshops, and training sessions to enhance skills and knowledge.

• Support the maintenance and organization of files, documents, and records.

• Assist in audit planning: Support the audit team in planning and scoping audits by reviewing relevant documentation, understanding business processes, and identifying potential areas of risk.

• Assist in performing audit procedures, such as testing internal controls, analyzing data, and reviewing financial records to assess the effectiveness of internal controls and identify control gaps or deficiencies.

What You'll Bring

• Currently enrolled (or recently graduated) pursuing related degree.

• < 1 Year

• Entrepreneurial spirit with a desire to own a business

• Humble; willing to do tasks that others might consider beneath them

• Hungry to be developed and passion to develop others

• Basic oral and written communication skills

• Familiarity with common word processing, spreadsheet, presentation, project management, e-mail software

• Self-starter with the ability to manage his / her time and resources

• Strong interpersonal and relationship building ability

• Ability to be flexible and maintain a positive attitude

• Determined and trustworthy
