• Work 12-hour night shifts with 36-hour guarantee and no cancellations
• Float between PCU unit and two other Med / Tele units, all caring for telemetry patients
• May float to all MS units, ER, L&D, Behavioral Health, and ICU (taking MS overflow patients)
• 2 years of nursing experience required
• Required certifications : ACLS (AHA), BLS (AHA), NIHSS
• Nurse to patient ratios : 1 : 5 days, 1 : 6 nights, 1 : 4 pediatrics (based on acuity level)
• Electronic Medical Record system : Allscripts Sunrise
• Support staff includes tele techs, charge nurse, HUCs, and PCTs
• Any color scrubs allowed (scrubs not provided)
• Work in acute care setting with hospitalist in-house 24 / 7
• No IV team on-site
• Respiratory therapist and pharmacy available 24 / 7
• BSN not required
