Primarily responsible for operating and maintain cleaning equipment and tools. Also responsible for washing dishes, chinaware, flatware, cutlery, crockery, kitchen vessels, sweeping and mopping floors, cleaning and detailing equipment etc. Maintains the kitchen, dishwashing and back area in an inspection-ready condition in accordance with the company's guidelines.
Responsibilities
- Daily dishwashing of all kitchen equipment, china, glassware and cutlery
- Correct and careful handling of all kitchen equipment
- Maintaining impeccable cleanliness, hygiene and tidiness in the kitchen
- Assisting with the daily cleaning of the kitchen
- Assisting the Executive Chef with the ordering of detergents and cleaning equipment
- Maintaining the company's standards in hygiene as per the HACCP
- Correct handling and storage of all detergents and cleaning equipment used in the kitchen
- Daily garbage separation and disposal, as instructed
- Participating in the training programs
