Join our team as an Evening Pharmacist Supervisor and lead our Order Verification Pharmacist Department to new heights. As an Evening Pharmacist Supervisor, you'll play a key role in ensuring our department operates smoothly and efficiently.

Location : Phoenix, AZ The Cotton Center (4645 E Cotton Center Blvd, Suite 100, Phoenix, AZ 85040).

Schedule :  Monday-Friday Evenings (generally 12pm-8 : 30pm), with availability to provide team support every other weekend as needed

Training : Monday-Friday 9 : 00am-5 : 30pm for the first 4 weeks.

Salary : Commensurate with experience.

Key Responsibilities :

  • Lead and Inspire :  Supervise and support a team of talented order verification pharmacists. You'll be responsible for scheduling, training, and providing feedback to ensure top-notch performance. You’ll also play a key role in recruiting and retention.
  • Collaborate and Communicate :  Work closely with other department leaders to coordinate workflow, address concerns, and ensure seamless communication across departments and between shifts.
  • Drive Excellence :  Manage staff, including counseling, discipline, and contributing to new hire and annual reviews. You'll also help maintain accurate records of PTO, attendance, and time-off requests. Make sure to fully understand policies and procedures, and lead the team in effectively putting them into practice.
  • Ensure Accuracy :  Utilize your understanding of pharmacy computer systems, such as Framework and DocuTrack to oversee order entry and pharmacist verification functions. You'll ensure accurate and timely input and verification of prescription and patient information.
  • Solve Problems :  Independently address and resolve internal and external concerns. Provide thoughtful input to organizational policies and training documents for continuous improvement.
  • Engage and Support :  Assist with Order Verification Staff Pharmacist duties when necessary.
  • Qualifications :

  • Credentials :  Must be registered and maintain good standing with the Arizona State Board of Pharmacy.
  • Experience : Two years of previous pharmacist experience and demonstrated ability to lead a team is required.
  • Skills :  Exceptional organizational and leadership skills, outstanding communication abilities, high flexibility and adaptability, coupled with a strong passion for providing outstanding service.
