SENIOR CONSTRUCTION PROJECT MANAGER (Permanent)
Our client, an established and well-known contractor in WNY, is looking to hire a Senior Construction Project Manager to join their growing team. This is a newly created position due to growth of the company and reports directly to the Director of Project Management.
Responsibilities
- Manage multi-million-dollar commercial projects (HVAC & plumbing) from pre-construction through completion
- Collaborate with various internal and external team members to develop budgets and timelines
- Review drawings, specifications, job sites, materials needed, etc. to create accurate bids / proposals
- Establish productive relationships with subcontractors and suppliers to ensure the procurement of equipment and materials occurs on time
- Manage a few project engineers & onsite foremen to ensure smooth operations
- Oversee RFI submittals
- Ensure all project documentation / reports are up to date, accurate, and appropriately reflect each project's progression
- Regularly visit job sites to ensure projects are being completed on time and within budget
- Make adjustments to budgets and deadlines as necessary; update upper management team and external stakeholders
- Partner with Director of Project Management and other senior team members to develop project strategies
- Remain up to date on industry standards and regulations to ensure compliance is maintained at all times
- Work well in a team environment, as well as independently
- Other duties as assigned / as necessary
Details
