Power / Plant Engineer

At Weyerhaeuser of Monticello, AR we are looking for a skilled Power / Plant Engineer to lead / oversee the personnel and daily operations of our energy production facilities / assets and fire protection system. In this role you will provide insight and analysis of overall plant performance and efficiency. Your experience and expertise will ensure our operations are safe, efficient, and in compliance with all state / industry regulations. This individual / position is integral to our operation and plays a key role in maintaining, optimizing and monitoring our energy assets and associates while providing analytical oversight on plant performance and reliability.

Key Functions :

• Monitor the operational efficiency of the plant's systems and components.
• Perform routine analysis of plant performance in key areas that can influence our overall business results
• Full oversight in the operation and functionality of all plant wide energy and power generation equipment.
• Develop, Monitor, perform routine inspections and maintenance tasks to ensure all energy assets and fire systems are functioning optimally.
• Develop, implement and maintain best practices, policies and procedures for energy production and plant safety.
• Monitor and maintain records of operational data and produce detailed reports on overall plant performance.
• Ensure compliance with all safety, environmental, company & state regulations and standards.
• Mentor, train, develop, systems support staff to ensure a high skill set & compliance certification are maintained at all times.

Compensation

This role is eligible for our annual merit-increase program, and we are targeting a salary range of $106,900 - $160,376 based on your level of skills, qualifications and experience. You will also be eligible for our Annual Incentive Program, which offers a cash bonus targeting 15% of base pay. Potential plan funding may range from zero to two times that target.

Retirement

Employees are able to enroll in our company's 401k plan, which includes a paid company match in addition to our annual contribution equal to 5% of your base salary.

Paid Time Off or Vacation

We provide eligible employees who are scheduled to work 25 hours or more per week with 3-weeks of paid vacation to use during your first year of employment. In addition, after being employed for six months, eligible employees begin to accrue vacation for future use. We also recognize eleven paid holidays per year, providing a total of 88 holiday hours
