  • Location : Harrison Township, New Jersey (08062) – South Jersey nursing jobs\n
  • Healthcare Setting : Intensive Care Unit (ICU), with required floating to Progressive Care Unit (PCU) as needed\n
  • Hours per Week : 36\n
  • Contract Duration : 10-week nursing contract\n
  • Shift : Every other weekend required; 1 holiday per contract if needed\n
  • Start Date : November 17, 2025\n
  • Scrub Color : Navy\n
  • Charting System : Cerner\n

    • \n\nICU RN Qualifications\n \n

  • Minimum 2 years of recent ICU nursing experience; PCU and Cardiac ICU experience preferred\n
  • Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in New Jersey or compact state\n
  • Certifications required : BLS, ACLS, NIHSS (AHA only)\n
  • Ability to float to PCU as needed for clinical support\n
  • No more than 3 days of requested time off (RTO)\n
  • Completion of all orientation modules and in-person classes as scheduled (no rescheduling permitted)\n

    • \n\nICU RN Responsibilities\n \n

  • Deliver high-quality nursing care to critically ill patients in the ICU using the nursing process\n
  • Coordinate and communicate effectively with patients, families, and multidisciplinary healthcare teams\n
  • Comply with all hospital policies, procedures, and nursing standards of practice\n
  • Float to the Progressive Care Unit (PCU) as required to support patient care needs\n
  • Participate in orientation, including virtual and in-person sessions, and complete all required modules and classes\n
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation using Cerner electronic health record system\n
