Participation in the cost and time planning of site activities.
Creation of tender documents for construction and installation activities.
Contribution to the definition of the subcontracting strategy (subcontractors / partners) and its implementation during the ITO phase with support from EHS, quality, planning, and procurement.
Active participation in project teams from the FEED phases to the completion of the project.
During OTR (Order to Receipt) :
Ensuring the consistent application of the defined subcontracting strategy.
Ensuring the timely establishment and issuance of subcontracts with support from EHS, quality, planning, contract management, and procurement.
Main contact for the operational aspects of all site subcontracts.
In case of a partner / consortium, the main contact for all construction-related issues.
Ensuring the integration of the customer's EHS requirements into the project-specific EHS procedure with support from the EHS department.
Responsible for the planning of C&C activities within the overall project schedule and the implementation of the construction management system (LPS) on each site for the timely delivery of the project.
Responsible for risk management and opportunity assessment in the construction and commissioning activities.
Responsible for the creation of the staffing plan, the mobilization of site teams, and the follow-up of actual values compared to the plan.
Setting goals and guidelines for the site supervisors deployed on the site.
Cooperation with the design office for the timely issuance of the data required for the preparation of site work (specifications, drawings, BOQ, material lists, etc.).
Initiation of the implementation of the CMS (Completion Management System) and definition of the TOPs with the project commissioning manager.
Support of the project management in important client meetings.
Network & Connections :
Internal : Project leaders, project managers, project engineering director, lead project controller, site managers, project commissioning managers, project design units, supervisors.
External : Customer, subcontractors, staffing agencies.
Leadership and management of site teams to ensure that performance standards, project goals, policies, and procedures are met.
Feedback on know-how and competencies to the hierarchical superiors for the personnel deployed on the sites.
Demonstration of EHS leadership and ensuring the implementation of the STOP-WORK POLICY in the team.
Ensuring the application of GE GRID EHS policies and procedures in all site activities.
Regular communication about policies and processes with all site personnel (GE GRID employees and non-GE-Grid employees) and ensuring application by all on-site stakeholders.
Taking responsibility to reward and promote proactive steps in all health, safety, and environmental protection issues in the work environment.
Participation in EHS Gemba Walks and leading EHS improvement initiatives on the site under one's own responsibility.
Identification and assessment of EHS risks and implementation of practical measures.
Modeling exemplary behavior by actively observing working conditions and behaviors, providing immediate and constructive feedback, and celebrating safety behaviors and successes.
Actively promoting the identification of hazards and near misses by the teams.
Active participation in the definition of corrective actions when work is unsafe or an uncontrolled risk is identified.
Active participation in behavioral safety initiatives.
Compliance with quality procedures, work instructions, and processes.
Reporting or addressing non-conformities and processes in a timely manner.
Implementation of site procedures to ensure that site work is carried out to the satisfaction of the customer and in accordance with GE-Grid standards.
Ensuring the collection of key information on the site to prepare lessons learned for future projects.
Initiation and participation in improvement initiatives for construction processes, tools, and documents.
Appropriate qualification in electrical engineering with approximately 5 years of professional experience.
Appropriate experience in health and safety, training, and qualifications according to international standards for such positions. GWO certification is advantageous.
Basic knowledge in the areas of high-voltage electrical work and commissioning.
Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to lead work teams in challenging situations.
