We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Construction Estimator to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in construction estimating, project management, and cost control. This role involves analyzing project specifications, preparing estimates, and collaborating with project managers to ensure accurate budgeting and pricing for construction projects. The Construction Estimator will play a crucial role in the planning and execution of projects, ensuring that all estimates align with company standards and client expectations.

Responsibilities

• Prepare detailed proposals for construction projects based on blueprints, specifications, and other relevant documents.
• Utilize software tools such as Bluebeam and Excel to create accurate estimates and manage project data.
• Conduct thorough analysis of project requirements to identify potential risks and cost-saving opportunities.
• Collaborate with project managers and other stakeholders to discuss bid proposals and negotiate contracts.
• Monitor ongoing projects to ensure adherence to budgetary constraints and implement cost control measures, as necessary.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry trends, pricing strategies, and construction techniques.
• Provide support during the bidding process by preparing bid packages and presenting estimates to clients.
• Maintain relationships with vendors and suppliers to ensure competitive costs for each bid.
