Implementations Specialist US-East (SaaS B2B Finance Data)
We are seeking an Implementations Specialist to join Subscript's Data Solutions team. You will be the first point of contact for new customers after they've signed on and will guide them through complex, data-intensive implementations. You will connect and configure integrations for source data, help clients clean and validate their data in Subscript, and perform analyses that maximize value for customers.
Responsibilities
- Serve as the first point of contact for new customers post-signing, guiding them through data-intensive implementations
- Connect and configure data source integrations, assist with data cleaning and validation in Subscript, and perform value-driving analyses
- Work primarily with East Coast customers, with flexibility to cover Europe / West Coast as needed
- Ensure ARR metrics, invoices, and accounting revenue are clean and complete, referencing clients' CRMs (e.g., HubSpot, Salesforce), general ledgers (e.g., QuickBooks, Xero), billing tools (e.g., Stripe, Maxio, Chargebee), and spreadsheets
- Collaborate with teammates using Subscript as the ETL pipeline, including an in-house transformation layer to configure ingestion rules
- Utilize four main tools : spreadsheets for data transformation and validation; internal configuration JSON files for data source connections; SQL for understanding internal data; Postman / APIs to fetch and explore external data
- Optional : Python for data fetching / transformation via Colab notebooks
- Help define the role as the Data Solutions team grows, working with company leaders and contributing to best practices and processes
- Support other team members by sharing insights and experience
Working Style
Asynchronous, fully remote team with minimal internal meetings; emphasis on written documentation and asynchronous communicationAutonomous culture with clear company goals and initiative to shape onboarding and processesLive calls with clients across time zones, with a focus on US-East hours and some flexibility for other time zonesTeam activities include occasional in-person off-sites (expenses paid)Interview Process

Strong data skills and experience acting as a strategic advisor to customers using data; prior customer-facing experience requiredProficiency in spreadsheets; experience requesting and reading JSON data from APIsCommitment to delivering clean, accurate data and reportsBackground in project management and / or client-facing communicationSQL proficiency; knowledge of B2B SaaS business modelsAbility to work US-Pacific time; 5+ years of relevant experienceOptional but welcome : Python familiarity; experience with general ledgers used in SaaS finance (e.g., QuickBooks, Xero, NetSuite); exposure to CRM systems (HubSpot, Salesforce)Kind, empathetic, and excellent written and verbal communication skillsBenefits
